No-Pie Apple Pie Skillet
Skip the hassle of making the pie – this apple pie skillet is such a cozy dessert, especially when served warm + topped with vanilla ice cream! Since I have to end every night with something sweet, this is one of my favorite quick + easy to assemble desserts. You likely already have all of the ingredients on hand, making it a great option when the craving hits!
No-Pie Apple Pie Skillet
Ingredients
- 4 apples
- 1 cup oats
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 3 tbsp ghee (or butter)
- 2 tsp maple syrup
Instructions
- Wash the apples, peel, + thinly slice. Spread along the bottom of a cast iron skillet or baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix together oats, cinnamon, brown sugar, ghee (or butter) + maple syrup. Spread your oat mixture over the apples.
- Bake at 350F for 15 minutes, or until your apples are soft + serve warm.
